I haven't tried KnoppMyth.  I actually have MythTV installed but the 
problem as I said is really in the driver for the tuner card.  I also 
use the system for other things so I prefer Fedora for that.  I just 
ordered the PVR 500 card.  I hope I have better luck with it.
