How about breakout sessions on them. The issue is to have volunteers on 
board who can help. I don't think a dedicated installfest just for MythTV 
or Asterisk would draw too many people. 

One of the things we could try to do is partition an installfest where we 
have people installing in one room and people who already have Linux 
installed who want to configure some of these applications.
