Laptop batteries

I bought a couple of laptop batteries on ebay. They weren't
advertised as new (indeed, they were specifically advertised as
"non-refurbished"). They seem to have lost 8~9% of their capacity.
Anyone have any idea how good this is? Do these likely have a
reasonable lifetime ahead of them?
