stupid keyboard question

Ummm. Solved my own problem. My solution was to go into Control Center ->
Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layouts -> and uncheck "Enable
keyboard layouts" (and restart my KDE session). I think somehow KDE
thought my apostrophe key should be a modifier key to get characters like
a with an accent over it, etc.

Happy Sunday,
