(80K))

Job Description:

The Unix / Linux Administrator will design, build, research, analyze,
configure, troubleshoot and maintain Unix / Linux Systems across the
company. This position will focus on implementation tasks related to new
deployments. This will include multi-level, multidimensional systems. In
addition, this position will provide appropriate levels of support for
Unix based equipment as assigned. OS hardening, server design and
engineering for supportability, application installations, security
management, and business continuance testing and implementations are
among the other responsibilities of this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build and implement new hardware configurations.
2. Provide support for common and advanced system administration
responsibilities, including backup and

    restore, clustering, replication, and migration.
3. Analyze and measure system performance, capacity and availability
4. Adhere to SOP processes as well as develop, implement and document
refined processes as needed.
5. Support Linux Servers on Production Business Applications (not just
DNS, Utility Servers etc)
6. Experience with enterprise version of Linux such as Red Hat
Enterprise Linux v2.1 and higher

7. Troubleshoot hardware, networking and Linux related problems as they
arise.
8. Perform server application configuration management / deployment
support. Work with software

    engineers, quality engineers, and project managers to help deploy
and manage new applications and

    update existing applications (using Java tools).
9. Assist with the monitoring performance analysis of existing
applications ensuring that the system is c

    consistent with ongoing need. Help identify potential tools to
facilitate capturing of performance metrics

    and permit ongoing monitoring of the system.
10. Help create and review application, installation, and system support
documentation.


Minimum Qualifications
* 3+ years Unix / Linux administration experience (Red Hat preferred,
Solaris Unix preferred)
* 3+ years Apache administration experience
* 1+ years Web application server administration experience (Tomcat
preferred)

* 2+ years SQL (MySQL preferred)

* 2+ years Java experience (Application architecture)
* 2+ years Sendmail or Postfix administration experience
* 2+ years DNS (BIND) administration experience
* 2+ years shell or Perl scripting

* 2+ years Radius authentication

* Proven analytical / problem solving ability

* Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly

* Able to work and contribute to a team environment

* Required to be flexible, detail oriented and organized with the
ability to multitask and work

   independently.

* Understanding of systems development lifecycle process

* Knowledge of component and network monitoring systems
  (Nagios experience is a plus)

* Solid networking experience





C++/UNIX/AIX Developer (50 p/h)

Job Description

This position is an essential and critical part of the software
development process.   You  will be involved in software engineering
projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*	Writing functional requirements, detailed component design, and
documentation
*	Developing and coding in C, C++, korn shell or Perl
*	Participating in rigorous unit testing and implementation,
support and debugging during all test phases



Required Skills

*	BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
*	3+ years software development experience (could be intern or
co-op experience)
*	Experience coding in C, C++, korn shell and Perl
*	Experience developing commercial software on a Unix or AIX
platform
*	Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
*	Strong communication, analytical, organizational and

UNIX/STORAGE SYSTEMS ENGINEER (100K)
Burlington, MA

Will have primary responsibility for delivering on-site consulting
services to our customers. You will be assigned to projects that will
involve the implementation of systems-related technologies into existing
or new environments at our customer sites.  Projects will range in
design complexity from fairly straight forward to moderately complex.
Will additionally serve as a pre-sales and post-sales support specialist
when needed.



Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

*	Deliver medium to large size, single or multi-product projects,
usually with multiple computer environments where design is extremely
complex
*	Provide pre-sales support with Sales Executives and the
generation of Visio Architectures, proposals, and assist wih responding
to RFI,RFQ, and RFP requests
*	Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required
to successfully implement project
*	Perform storage audits, assessments, utilization studies, and
security reviews
*	Accurately estimate time frames, expertise and duration of
resources required to successfully implement projects
*	Assist in testing new products and provide timely feedback to
organizations involved
*	Conduct periodic status reviews with customers and management to
assess progress
*	Revise project plans and document scope changes, communicate
reasons to customers and management as necessary throughout project
*	Submit customer incident details in problem management system
and centralize documents on-line
*	Hold regular customer review meetings with assigned customer
accounts
*	Provide sales team with on-site pre-and post-sales technical
support as required
*	Build services business by developing customer relationships and
obtain additional consulting assignments out of existing accounts



Qualifications:

*	Bachelor's of Science, ideally in computer science or equivalent
experience.
*	6 - 9 years experience, with 5 years consulting a plus
*	Must have specific experience in Storage and Server
deployment/migration projects
*	Must have experience with SAN, NSA, DAS storage infrastructures.
Specific experience with Sun, DotHill, Hitachi, StorageTek a plus
*	Experience with UNIX (Solaris or Linux). Operating Systems
knowledge a plus
*	Experience with storage software projects for backup,
replication, and virtualization from Veritas (NetBackup, SRM, APM), Sun,
StorageTek and other vendors a plus
*	Experience with fabric switching solutions, SCSI-fiber bridges,
cable management, and other production data center storage technologies
a plus
*	Experience in clustering technology - Veritas, Sun, or MS
cluster services a plus
*	Experience in architecting and design of complex enterprise
solutions
*	Experience in formulating customer proposals
*	Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills
*	Excellent communication and presentation skills and comfort
interfacing with customers
*	Proven ability to meet designated deadlines and professional
business practices
*	Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently

*	Must be willing to travel local to client sites covering the New
England area
