Google maps hybrid display (was: [blu] Microsoft's Earth deletes Apple HQ)

Or they "stole" the idea from a third party:

That site shows a customized Google maps UI with a transparency slider 
at the bottom of the screen, and has a button to toggle which image 
overlays.
