setup and configuration cvs on redhat linux

Start at the GNU main CVS page. There is a link to the manual et. al. 
http://www.gnu.org/software/cvs/

Additionally, the Man pages should be installed. 
Inn the simplest case, you set up a CVS repository and use the CVS checkin 
and checkout commands respectively. 

CVS should be no different on AS4 than it was on AS3 or SLES9 for Fedora.
