Linux on a laptop ... step 2?



Thanks Ed & Dave.

ibm-apci in the stock distro is a good reason for FC3.
I suppose I'm not too invested in APT to switch to RPMs,
and I gather there's a FC for Alpha too, so I could be compatible
there.

Will recompiling for APM or switching to ibm-apci solve the problem
of thermal event shutdowns by letting throttleing work right?
