I've been out of the loop for a little while, mailserver/procmail issues,
but have you looked into synergy?  It's a sourceforge project that allows
you to set up a server on 1 machine, and connect to it from another, and
use the same mouse on both.

Is their official instructions for using an SSH tunnel.
