Hi David,

I thought I would check in with you to see if you knew anyone who would be
interested in taking on this assignment.  I know you are well connected in
the Linux community here in New England so if by chance you don't know
anyone currently available I would certainly appreciate any heads up on
where to find someone like this.  In addition I still have a few needs for
embedded Linux engineers as well.

Anyhow I hope your current assignment is going well and I absolutely
appreciate any assistance on this.

This person must be fluent with Red Hat Linux Advanced version 2.1.  Person
will be responsible for overall deployment across other platforms when
necessary.

*        Work as a key member of Vergence Platform team developing and
testing the administration modules for the Vergence Vault, which is a
pre-packaged Linux server appliance.

*        Write and run unit test and administer Linux Red Hat advanced
server 2.1

*         Experience with Open LDAP is a significant advantage

*        Solid knowledge of the Red Hat Linux environment and Perl

*        Linux Shell

*        HTML

*        Experience with WebMin a significant advantage as WebMin is an open
source Linux admin tool.

*        Design and Develop test strategies for components being developed

*        Implement components using Perl or other languages as appropriate

*        Participate in code and design reviews as appropriate

*        Work with Quality Assurance engineers in developing functional
tests for functionality being implemented

*        Work with Release Engineers in developing build, installation and
release scripts for developed functionality
