OT: trouble with Linksys RT41P2

Perhaps set the WAN MAC Address of the router to that of the workstation NIC (MAC Address Clone)?

Kind of like this:
http://www.linksys.com/support/support.asp?spid=93

Or call Comcast and tell them the MAC of the router, so they will look for that rather than the MAC of the workstation.

Could be a completely separate issue. Anyone notice that reliability has declined since Comcast bought AT&T cable? My RCN cable connection continues to work like a champ.
