Don't mean to start it again... But!

I try to at least read the headlines on such web-sites as news.com and
other tech related sites to try to keep up. I was on news.com today and
read a few articles that sort of "hit me" as a bit strange.

On News.com there are two articles on EDS, the first is EDS to move Data
Centers to India, it says that they plan on moving 1/2 their data centers
to India from US and India. Not surprising, we know the trend about 20,000
workers will be displaced.

What got me was the 2nd story about EDS, the story headline was EDS expects
Navy to offset GM Losses. EDS is the 2nd largest technology services
company in the world, and was formerly owned by GM, when their contract
expires GM will probably take some of their busness elsewhere, but EDS
isn't worried because they are nearing cash flow break even on their Navy
contract.

I don't know just take what you want from the articles, I am not for
protectionism, however, I do think it is strange that in Iraq our goverment
can say that countries that didn't support the US in the war can't get
contracts, however, we can give our tax money to a US Company that is going
to move 20,000 jobs to India.
