There are a few products for the Sharp Zaurus that use it, but the 
Opie project (the PIM/etc software that OpenZaurus uses) is probably going 
to move from XML datafiles to sqlite.  XML is great as a data 
sharing/transport format, but not for a datafile that gets inserts, 
deletes, and changes.
