cost of running a computer



It is easy to measure with kill-a-watt.

Type kill-a-watt into google and you get a bunch of choices as to
where to buy one.

I suspect shipping costs may be the more significant cost rather than
the advertised price.

I have one and I think it is great. For example I found out that my
Dell flat panel display doesn't use much less power when it goes to
screen save.  Prob. none of them do.
