Linux based accounting system

What kind of accounting package/system are you looking for? There are
a number of Free (or nearly free) systems for personal and/or
small-business accounting. But without knowing your exact needs it's
hard to tell you where to look first.

I'd suggest GnuCash (being a bit biassed on the subject). It's
historically had a bad rap (mostly because it's got tons of Gnome
Dependencies), but if you use the version that comes with your Distro
it'll be fairly easy to install.
