Network monitoring tools

Hi all,

Any advise for network monitoring tools? I used cheops
and big brothers, but not much benefit to me. I have
40 workstation and 25 server with mix windows and
linux. I would like to monitoring the network traffic
internal and external. Any help is very appreciated.
