Technical Support
Location: Waltham, MA

Summary

NAPC, the premier integrator for the graphics arts industry, has an 
immediate opening fora technical support professional. This position 
requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communications and 
customer management ability, and a proven knowledge of a server-centric,
OPI-based workflow. This position is for telephone support, with some 
travel for installs, training and support at customer sites.
 
 
Responsibilities
     o Telephone support
     o Case management; prosecuting calls, maintaining contact and 
         momentum on issues with both vendors and customers
     o Escalate calls as needed to Tier 2 support personnel
     o Continuously expand technical knowledge through in house
training, 
         formal training, daily experience
     o Train customers on software and hardware
     o Onsite Install and training of customers on Hardware and Software
         as needed

Requirements
     o Knowledge of Pre-Press industry, graphic arts
     o Strong knowledge of graphics/print/prepress workflows
     o Experience with Macintosh operating systems, OS 9 and X
     o FullPress skills a very strong plus
     o Solaris, Irix, or OSX Server experience also a very strong plus
