Redhat 7.x and 8.x sunset

Hello:

I know that I do not change very quickly. I read, write, and do
arithmetic like I did back in grade school, hopefully a bit faster. I
buy boxes to get certain jobs done well and at low cost. This all
indicates I am in the Debian camp. If one buys old hardware for the
good price, then one does not need to worry about having the latest
drivers. I use applications, not desktops, so this blackbox user does
not care about the bleeding edge of KDE or Gnome. I do care about
Gnucash, and apt-get makes setting up a working program trivial.

In ten years time, I fully expect to remain Debian to remain the
packaging system I use.
