CUPS printing problem with USB

lsmod | grep printer
Here's my system's output:
printer                 8576   0 (unused)
usbcore                74988   1 [usb-storage usbmouse hid printer 
ehci-hcd usb-uhci]

If printer isn't loaded & part of usbcore, your printer isn't seen on 
the USB port.
