Radius authentication by MAC address

Hi Joseph,
    Before I go about answering this question, could
you please tell me what radius server you are using?
Is it Funk's AAA steel-belted or Free Radius...?

If it is free Radius, you may have to edit the
clients.conf file, and accordingly the hints file and
maybe the users file (I am not sure here..but, it is
no big deal).

If it is Funk's, then, you may have to choose the
incoming attribute (filter) and the response
attribute.

I presume, you may want to authenticate using a MAC
address and want a particular IP address to be
assigned (or an IP address from a pool)...assuming
that you might want to use the Radius server as a DHCP
server as well.

let me know,
Sri.
