Need help - updated kernel error

The newer kernel has a lot of interdependencies with newer versions of
other packages on the system. If you really need this newer kernel, then
you should get the updated versions of these other packages (modutils,
mkinitrd, e2fsprogs, initscripts, dev, and iptables) from Red Hat.
