To: discuss at blu.org

I just went to a job interview to which I wasn't qualified. They need
someone to write simple data-entry Java web applications to store stuff
into SQL-based databases and to maintain these databases. The City of
Boston got a grant from the CDC for Emergency Preparedness. This is part
of this project. I'm not certain what platform they are thinking of
(Linux, Unix, or other), but it sounds like a ground-level opportunity
where those decisions could be made.

The one caveat is that you either have to be a resident of Boston or be
willing to relocate to Boston for the job.

Anyway, if you are interested, e-mail your resume to David Bibo at
bibo at bostonems dawt org

If anyone knows of any Unix/Linux/Solaris/Tru64 system administration or
programming jobs, drop me an e-mail! (My resume is available on my web
site.)
