It took me almost two weeks to connect to do my last update, trying several 
times a day, including after 1am.  Not that this is typical (I'm sure it's 
related to the release of RH9), but it is possible.

On the Red Hat mailing lists, I've heard lots of complaints recently of 
servers locking them out too, or getting glacial speeds when they do get in.  
Again, probably due to RH9.
