LinModems ... what to do?

Evening,

my dad's got a epox motherboard with an Lucent ltwinmodem (rev02) PCI
card in it (not built on to mb).

anyone know the "easy" way to make it work? I'm hoping for mysteriously
named RH rpm which eludes my sleepy eyes. But, even google didn't hit the
jack pot and so I'm left to think I need to pull down the linmodem drivers
and compile myself a new kernel.

think I'll just send dad to Fry's for 56k real modem!.

system has rh80 installed...
