Possible contract work for someone



I got this in the mail today.  They're offering good money (by today's
standards) for some HP-UX admin work.

Please let me know if you apply to this, because if I don't hear from 
anyone I'll forward it elsewhere.  I decided to forward it to BLU 
exclusively first though.

Title:    HP-UX Upgrade Lead Engineer
Start Date: Monday, September 30th
Duration: 2 months
Job Description:  
Our customer is doing an upgrade of their operating system from HP-UX 11.0 to 11i.  The position is for a hands-on lead of the migration project and will assist with all aspects of the project. Responsibilities include managing the project plan/schedule, creating images of Oracle Financials applications, perform network configurations, redirect user id's after replication of the application on 11i, rename hosts, disc configs, (IP addresses will be kept the same), work with volume groups, and oversee a mid level HP UX staff person.  Must have experience with Ignite-UX.
The actual upgrade is scheduled for Nov 15th- that wil be a working weekend.  Off hours support may also be required.
Production environment: HP 11.0: 2 8-way in class; 3 4-way out class; and some 2-way boot servers.  The development environment has another 2 8-way in's and 2 4-way out's. 
Technologies: HP-UX 11.0 and 11i, Ignite process. Exposure to Oracle applications
Location: Boston
Compensation: $65.00/hour.
