Boston Linux Meeting Wednesday, August 21, 2002 (MacOSX)

Topic: A discussion of MacOS X and Linux on the Macintosh
	Joint meeting with the MacWoburn group.

P.A.M. Borys - trainer at mac dot com

As of this date the exact topic is stull under discussion. Peter is also a 
Linux user and one of the Installfest volunteers. P.A.M. and Peter run the 
Macwoburn Macintosh user group and are experienced with both the Mac and 
Linux. JABR and I will be meeting with Peter and P.A.M. tonight to further 
firm up the subject.

As usual there will be an after meeting meeting at the Cambridge Brewery at 
One Kendall Sq.

Details to be determined. Possible topics include:

    * Intro to UNIX for Mac users
    * Intro to Macs for Unix users
    * History of Linux and UNIX on the Mac (from the earliest mkLinux and 
LinuxPPC movements to the latest Mandrake and SuSE installations to the BSD 
base of MacOS X)
    * How to install Linux on your Mac
    * How to install MacOSX and Linux on the same computer
    * MacOSX: Delving into the UNIX side for Mac users
