Identify USB port

I'm running a RedHat 7.2 box, and I'm having a bit of
trouble figuring out where to direct gnome pilot for
the USB connection on my visor cradle.

/var/log messagse says that ttyUSB0 is for generic,
and ttyUSB1 is for HotSync, but I've tried linking
/dev/pilot to both of them, in /dev and /dev/usb.

Any thoughts?

thanks
