New driver for Sis900...

I have a system that has a builtin sis900 10/100 ethernet nic running redhat 6.2. Redhat docs says it does not support that driver with that release. Is there a way that I can get the revised driver code, compile and bind that code to the operating system without rebuilding my os? Is there a step-by-step anywhere for doing this?

Kevin
