Verizon DSL question

We generally will always bash the phone company. Verizon used to by known
as Bell Titanic :-).
But, like any other large corporation, it is very bureacratic with one hand
not knowing what the other hand is doing.

Before I got my cable modem about 6 years ago, Nynex (as they were at that
time) was trying to promore their ISDN service. They supplied a special
number to call. I had even attended a seminar at Nynex in Framingham with
some ISDN trained people. After calling their special ISDN hot line, I
learned that they were clueless.
