proftpd question

I am having a small problem and was wondering if anyone else had run into
it.

I installed the latest version of proftpd on an intel redhat 7.2 box
yesterday.

If I connect from my gateway linux machine everything is dandy.
Feb 10 09:24:21 beverly proftpd[14479]: beverly
(h00a0cc577ea7.ne.mediaone.net[66.30.65.125]) - FTP session opened.

But if I try to connect from inside my lan (which uses ip masq) I get
errors like this:
Feb 10 09:24:46 beverly proftpd[14481]: beverly
(h00a0cc577ea7.ne.mediaone.net[66.30.65.125]) - Refused PORT
192,168,1,3,18,212 (address mismatch)

Is it because of the masq? Any ideas?

tia,
Phil
