Bad packet length error!

The host I am using does not accept -2 as an option.
Aparrently it is only running version 1 because after I changed my
config file back to "Protocol 2,1" I could make the ssh connection
to my Linux box.

Have you tried specifying version 2 in the command line?

   ssh -2 <host>

Subject: ssh: Bad packet length error!

I did not have any problem making ssh connections to my Linux box,
running RedHat 7.2, until I rebooted it. Now I am getting
	   "Local: Bad packet length 1349676916"
   when I try to ssh.

I should add that at some point before rebooting, I changed the ssh
protocol in the config file from 1,2 to only 2.
Is that ssh error the result of protocol change?

   Thanks.
