Monitors and power draw

Excellent point.  They should also consider the power-on surge.   Since
CRT's are frought with coils and capacitors, when you turn them on they
draw a tremendous amount of power for a brief period of time.  I don't
know how that would add up with lots and lots of monitors.

In theory they should last much longer.  Was that said already?
