GPS-free cell phone?

I agree with Jerry.  But for the paranoid it goes further than that.
All the major wireless providers are failing to meet the first gov deadline
for E911 location service.  So, perhaps, no one is really checking yet.

There are at least 5 competing technologies for pinpointing the location
of cell phones.  Some of them work with old phones, two of these
have been implemented on a large scale.

Look for prepay services, use folding money and wipe your prints.
