sendmail problem

Hi to all


I have a i586  RH 7 and a BIG  problem  with sendmail :(
This  server is  the main mail server  of my office  and  suddenly stoped
answering  smpt & telnet requests. I thought  that  the daemons were
stoped so I  typed:
 $ps -ax | grep sendmail 

and it showed that  sendmail  was running 
 
3905 ? S 0:00 sendmail:LAA03950 [168.255.71.36] MAIL FROM
3923 ? S 0:00 sendmail:KAA024 correo.webtelmex.net.mx:client DATA

Please any help would be great!!
