Linux Dial up Server

Hi All,

I am attempting to set up a remote linux server as a
dial up server. I have the modem configured and it
will answer the phone. I will be dialing in with both
Linux and windoze clients.

I am looking for info (especially from someone who
has already done this before) on what to use to do
this. I am able to dial in an establish a session with
Windoze "Hyperterminal".

I am concerned about security. I have replaced
telnet with ssh for connecting remotely over the
network, is it possible to use ssh over dial up
connections (if so , how)? If no what do you use for
secure dial up? any pointers to appropriate "how to's"
or man pages will be appriciated.

. Regards,
