Linux Display



You need to know the vertical and horizontal sync rates for your monitor. 
The S17 may be different. Also, the video memory is a function of your 
video card. I use SuSE, which uses SaX. xconfigurator is a Red Hat 
utility. But, those sync rates are what xconfigurator uses in conjunction 
to your card.
