mouse

I have been using a touchpad as a GlidepointPS2 under XFree86.

I over the last few years I have noticed that these pads' response
to taps and to movement is unpredictable in very humid conditions,
and that this unpredictability is worsened by moist hands.

So I'm in the market for a mouse, I have previously used 3-button
Logitech mice. I went to pads to not fight for desk space, and
because balls sometimes just don't roll.

Somewhere around 30-40$ my price resistance will appear. This
may be overcome.

I use a mouse with my right hand.

I haven't seen any "new" mice, that is the original wheel mouse or
newer.

Suggestions welcome.
