Delegating in-addr.arpa for subnetted address space

That is correct, but I've found in the past that with so few IPs, most providers aren't too eager to go to the effort of changing the delegation unless you have a full Class C.  If it's just a one-time thing, I'd suggest calling them up and asking them to change the reverse lookup entries themselves once and leaving them there.
