/* This simple program has little error checking but does the job. */
/* Obviously you should modify it as necessary. */

#include <stdio.h>
#include <sys/socket.h>
#include <netinet/in.h>
#include <arpa/inet.h>

int main( int argc, char **argv ){

    struct in_addr address;

    if ( argc != 2 ){
	fprintf( stderr, "Please supply exactly one argument\n\n" );
	exit( 1 );
    }

    inet_aton( argv[1], &address );

    printf( "0x%0.8x\n", ntohl( address.s_addr ) );

    exit( 0 );

}
