Serious vulnerability in 2.2 Kernels (fwd)

Correction:  If you read the exploit code posted in the first link I
provided, it states in the comments that the 2.4 kernels *ARE*
vulnerable, though no exploit is currently known for them.  Thanks to
Jeff Moyer for pointing this out.
