Boston Linux Installfest IX Saturday, March 3, 2001

I don't know if this may be related, but I've seen Sun Solaris systems
totally lock up for several seconds while experiencing hard drive
read/write problems. After each freeze, an I/O error message was written
to the console. You might want to look for these types of errors
somewhere and/or verify your hard drive's health.
