Different type of question for this group...



I thought that the disk keys were just an enabling code that had the same CRC or
such
as the underlying product code.  If this is true, you should be able to use most
any code
that comes with a WIN98 disk to load any other (on a clean install).  I know
that when I bought a laptop with W95 installed, I had to send away for a W95
disk.  It would load under its own code or under the code of the shipped OS.  It
would  take only the shipped OS code until I had to reformat the HDD, indicating
that the shipped OS had residual data that had to match the disk key typed in.
