Need MUUUUCH help with problem......

Hello everyone! I am new to the group and I hate to say it but I am
arriving with a problem. I have recently installed Slackware 7.1 on an HP
Pavillion 8665c tower. The problem I am having lies in the setup of the
video.
It has the Intel 810 Chipset built into the motherboard (***BLECH***, I hate
when they do that). Unfortunately, HP does not give much info about the
video. I have been trying for a few days now to set it up. I have tried
many different cards, unsuccessfully. I went to Intel's website and
downloaded the drivers and X-server they have there and that is where I am
now.
They driver and xserver are RPM packages. I have not worked with RPM much
as of late. I was wondering a couple of things:

#1 Has anyone here had any experience setting up this video?, and do you
have any suggestions?

#2 Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would really love to get this going. Thanks in advance to everyone for
their time.

Sincerely,

Jeff Kirkland
