BLU server DNS

For about a week now we were unable to do zone transfers to our secondary
DNS servers, and the DNS information that went out was a damaged record. I
added the line:
allow-transfers { server-ip1;
		server-ip2;
		server-ip3; }; to the options section of named.conf., but It does not
appear that we are getting zone transfers. John set up named using
dnstool. We manually input the correct records into the secondary server
today, but it does not appear that we are doing the zone transfers. We are
running bind 8. I think the problem is on our side.
