KDE vs. Gnome



ok... I am NEW to Linux... do I want KDE or Gnome?  or..does it matter?  or
a third choice?

If you are running [kg]dm, they both have a "session" menu in the login
box, which will let you pick wether you want to run KDE or Gnome.
