Trouble is, there are three separate instances of the DHCP assigned IP
address assigned to my login being in a SPAM header.  If there were only
one incident, I would suspect coincidence.  But three...?

So nose to the grindstone.  Time to brush up on tripwire, et al. (who's
al?)  Although I suspect it's more likely HarvardNet's been compromised
than my laptop; better safe than sorry.  Not exactly what I hoped to be
spending my time on, but oh well.

Anyone care to promote any favorite security tools?
