Metroworks for Linux



That is correct. A few years ago some sleazy Boston attorney registered 
Linux as a trademark and sent letters to some of the businesses that 
write code or produice distributions. Linux International (eg. Maddog Hall) 
led the fight to regain the Linux trademark. I didn't keep up with the legal 
battle, but from a legal standpoint, they probably were able to establish 
Linus as the most legitimate owner of the name.
