journalling FS (ReiserFS)

I honestly don't know. Nor do I know whether it's a real journaling file
system (as someone else brought up), only that SuSE describes it as one.

All I know about ReiserFS is what SuSE says about their new features in
6.4. From the relevant web page
(http://www.suse.de/en/produkte/susesoft/linux/new_in_64.html):

 ReiserFS support (journaling filesystem, online growable partitions)

Yes, their kernel also includes USB support, ported back from the 2.3
kernel series.
