RedHat 6.2 on a i486

Greetings members,

I am trying to install RH 6.2 for eval purposes on my Toshiba T2105.
It's just a simple i486 with 20mb of RAM and a 1.5 gb disk drive. The
last version of RH it ran was 6.0. At any rate, I've tried 3 install
methods but none work. Booting with the latest disk image
pcmcia-20000407.img, the following all fail:

	NFS,
	FTP,
	and locally attached SCSI cdrom.

I logged a begzilla ticket (#11086) but no word yet. Please view the
ticket for the exact failure text.

I am beginning to suspect that parts
of the RH 6.2 distro were compiled on a i586 specific kernel and thus
I'm asking here if anyone has successfully installed RH 6.2 on a i486
by ANY means...
