performance hit in CGI with compiled Perl and no mod_perl?

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience comparing the CGI performance
of Perl scripts versus Perl that has been compiled to binary (using the
Perl compiler and cc_harness). This project will be using Apache under
Linux--but the server won't be using mod_perl.

Thanks in advance . . .
